Gair Fryers is a Calgary-born real estate and hospitality entrepreneur focused on developing and operating distinctive, place-based properties. His early experiences in the Rockies and international travel shaped a lasting appreciation for exceptional locations, thoughtful design, and elevated guest experiences.

He began his career with an international real estate firm, spending over a decade in financial modelling and project management, contributing to large-scale land acquisitions and syndications across North America and global investor markets.

Gair later founded Castleavery Hospitality, leading the acquisition and development of boutique lodging properties including Mount Engadine Lodge in Kananaskis and a second property in Fernie, British Columbia. Through this work, he has built strong operational teams and long-term partnerships across development and hospitality.

At Thurso Collective, Gair leads acquisition strategy and brings together capital, development expertise, and operations to shape a portfolio of distinctive, high-quality assets.
